2023 Cadillac CT4 Drops Diamond Sky Special Edition Package

The 2023 Cadillac CT4 will no longer offer the Diamond Sky Special Edition package, Cadillac Society has learned.

Offered for the 2021 and 2022 model years, the Diamond Sky Special Edition package is only available on the Cadillac CT4 Premium Luxury trim.

The Diamond Sky Special Edition package bundles the following equipment (relevant production codes listed in parentheses): 

• Diamond Sky Metallic exterior paint (paint code G9F)
• Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents with unique Diamond Fall seat perforations and Centaurus Aluminum center console trim (HUN)
• Two Diamond Sky Metallic-accented key fobs
• 18-inch alloy wheels with Diamond Cut/Midnight Silver finish (Q7B)
• Body-color rocker moldings and extensions (B6A)
• Body-color rear lower diffuser
• Neutral-density tail lamps with gray-tinted transparent outer lens with red crystalline inner elements (C73)
• Brembo V Performance front brakes (J55)
• Blue calipers (J6B)
• Alloy pedals (JF5)

Customers could also opt for a set of optional set of 19-inch alloy wheels with a Polished/Dark Android Gloss finish for an additional $800. 

The Diamond Sky Special Edition package for the Cadillac CT4 is priced at $2,400. However, it also requires the $1,200 Climate Package, bringing the total cost to $3,600. Production of the 2023 Cadillac CT4, which will no longer offer the Diamond Sky Special Edition package, is scheduled to begin on July 18^th, 2022.

The Cadillac CT4 Premium Luxury is equipped with the luxury marque’s turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Models with this engine, designated by the 350T badge on the trunk lid, are mated to the eight-speed automatic transmission. The turbocharged 2.7L I4 engine (production code L3B) is available as an optional upgrade. This engine, identified by the 500T badge, is rated at 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. What’s more, models with the upgraded engine mate to the 10-speed automatic transmission.

Rear-wheel-drive is standard, while all-wheel-drive is an optional extra. The luxury sedan rides on Cadillac’s Alpha 2 platform, and is assembled at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan for all markets except for China.

It’s also worth noting that the CT4’s larger relative, the Cadillac CT5, will also drop the Diamond Sky package for the 2023 model year.
