The 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is already as track-ready as a luxury super sedan can get, but the luxury marque will soon up the ante with a new Track Edition to debut next month.
On its Instagram account dedicated to the V-Series line of performance vehicles, Cadillac released a teaser video of its three upcoming CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition models. Each features a different exterior color, including Maverick Noir Frost, Electric Blue and Rift Metallic. They all wear both the Carbon Fiber 1 and Carbon Fiber 2 packages, which add a host of carbon fiber equipment to the exterior of the vehicles, including splitters, spoilers, rocker moldings and extensions, plus front dive planes. The Track Edition models also wear IMSA decals on the front splitter, hood and sides, similar to what was seen on the Cadillac CTS-V IMSA Championship Edition model released in 2017.

Each model appears to have been inspired by a famous American road course: Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta and Sebring, places where Cadillac has experienced success in the IMSA racing series. The teaser video provides a glimpse of the Sebring silhouette etched in the rear driver’s side window of a CT4-V Blackwing painted in Maverick Noir Frost.
At this time, we do not expect the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition to feature increased performance over the “regular” CT4-V Blackwing. In other words, the special edition models will likely be appearance packages that retain the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4). The boosted six makes 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, and is paired with the luxury marque’s six-speed manual transmission as standard or the 10-speed automatic as an option.
Pricing and availability for the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition models has yet to be revealed, but the luxury marque says that it will drop more information in July.
