The 2022 Cadillac CT5-V has received a minor price increase.
The MSRP for the CT5-V has remained the same. Instead, the price increase applies to the destination freight charge, which rose from $1,195 to $1,395, adding just $200 to the overall price of the performance-oriented luxury sedan.
Trim Level | Drivetrain | Powertrain | 2022 MSRP + DFC |
---|---|---|---|
CT5-V | RWD | Twin-Turbo 3.0L V6 LGY | $51,490 |
CT5-V | AWD | Twin-Turbo 3.0L V6 LGY | $53,490 |
As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V draws motivation from the turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine (production code LGY), which is capable of 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. That engine bolts to the luxury marque’s 10-speed automatic transmission, routing power via either the two rear wheels as standard, or an optional all-wheel-drive system, available for a premium.
Introduced in 2020, the CT5-V is a mid-tier performance-oriented sedan that slots between the regular CT5 models (Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport) and the range-topping CT5-V Blackwing. As such, it features a more powerful engine and more spirited handling capabilities, while maintaining approachability. Beyond the engine and suspension upgrades, the CT5-V features a special mesh grille, V-Series “racing Mondrian” badging, and an upgraded, sportier rear diffuser when compared to “regular” CT5 units.
The Cadillac CT5-V is assembled at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan. Currently, the vehicle is being built without certain features due to constraints stemming from the ongoing global microchip shortage. These include the heated steering wheel, along with Super Cruise, the luxury marque’s semi-autonomous driver assist technology. However, heated and ventilated seats were recently reintroduced after a brief hiatus.
