The 2022 Cadillac XT6 has a new Onyx Lite Package available, Cadillac Society has learned.
The Onyx Lite Package (production code PCP) is an optional exterior accent set that’s offered exclusively for the Cadillac XT6 Sport trim. It features all the components included in the regular Onyx Package, with the exception of the Gloss Black grille (production code SJA), which was an LPO-level option and was installed at the dealer rather than at the factory.
Specifically, the Onyx Lite Package includes the following content (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):
- 20-inch Gloss Black wheels (S2K)
- Gloss Black bodyside moldings (RWK)
- Gloss Black rear license plate applique (RXX)
- Gloss Black front fascia applique (QJ5)
- Gloss Black exhaust bezel (VMP)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems (SFZ)
Pricing for the Onyx Lite Package has not been made available yet. By comparison, the regular Onyx Package costs $4,695 to equip on units of the XT6 in Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, and $4,095 in the Sport trim level. Currently, the regular Onyx Package is unavailable to order due to undisclosed supplier issue. It’s not clear if the Onyx Package will become available again for the 2023 model year, or if the Onyx Lite Package will completely replace it.
As a reminder, the amended Onyx Lite Package is available only for the Cadillac XT6 Sport, and has not been made available for other trim levels like Luxury or Premium Luxury.
As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac XT6 is powered by a choice of two engines. The turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY) is rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and is standard in the base Luxury trim level. The Premium and Sport trim levels feature the naturally-aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), which is rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The XT6 is built at the Cadillac Spring Hill Plant in Tennessee. Pricing for the base Luxury trim starts at $49,790 for the base Luxury trim with front-wheel-drive.
