The configurator, available on Cadillac.com, allows a customer to pick from ten different exterior paint options. Eight of these are premium colors offered at an additional cost, including Infrared Tintcoat and Dark Emerald Frost, which has limited availability.
Meanwhile, six available interior colorways and material combinations are available. The base option is the Jet Black interior with Jet Black accents plus leather seas.
The next step prompts a choice between two optional carbon fiber packages, which include stylish and functional rocker panels and front splitters. Optional driver conveniences can also be outfitted, such as a Driver Assist Package, Parking Package, and Interior Protection Package.
The standard wheel configuration is a 19-inch aluminum alloy wheel with a Polished/Dark Android finish. Multi-spoke wheels are also available with either a Satin Graphite Dark or Tech Bronze finish. The 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing also boasts four color selections for brake calipers, from sporty red to classy bronze.
For an extra $9,000, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing can be equipped with optional carbon ceramic brakes and cross-drilled rotors. The package delivers maximum braking performance under continuous heavy braking conditions thanks to a combination of weight reduction and material upgrades.
The chassis of the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing features stiffer springs and hollow stabilizer bars, enhanced shock tower braces, and high-quality bushings. Cadillac’s fourth-gen Magnetic Ride Control suspension allows for a luxurious ride on the street and superior agility on the track.
The 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is powered by the supercharged 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4, harnessing 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque.
