Ultium Charge 360 Introduced For Future Cadillac EVs

Cadillac is transitioning to an all-electric lineup, with the recently debuted Cadillac Lyriq luxury crossover offered as the first battery-powered Caddy out the gates. To keep the upcoming deluge of all-electric Cadillac models juiced up, Cadillac’s parent company, General Motors (GM), is rolling out Ultium Charge 360, integrating EV charge networks, mobile apps, and several other all-electric vehicle products and services.

Ultium Charge 360 seeks to undo range anxiety by making it easy for customers to charge their vehicle. Thanks to partnerships with third-party charging companies and electric utility operators, Cadillac EV customers can expect to gain access to additional charge stations conveniently placed at locations like the workplace and other public areas.

Additionally, Ultium Charge 360 will include mobile apps with up-to-date information and an intuitive interface, providing directions to the nearest charge point. What’s more, the Ultium Charge 360 apps will make it convenient to pay for charging services on the fly.

Finally, electric vehicle customers can expect to receive offers for charging accessories and installation services that suit their lifestyle.

Ultium Charge 360 takes its name from the all-electric Ultium Platform, the same platform that powers the all-new Cadillac Lyriq crossover.

As part of Cadillac’s plans to introduce five new all-electric models by the 2025 calendar year, the Cadillac Lyriq features a standard 100-kWh Ultium lithium-ion battery pack and a single Ultium Drive electric motor, with output rated at 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Range-per-charge is rated at 300 miles, with upwards of 76 miles added in just 10 minutes when plugged into a 190-kW source. The standard 19.2-kW charger will allow at-home charging of 52 miles of range per hour.
