2023 Cadillac Lyriq Revealed In Production Form

Cadillac has pulled the sheets on the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq, showing the all-electric crossover in its full production-form splendor.

The reveal follows the debut of the Cadillac Lyriq show car in August of 2020, which was touted as being 80 to 85 percent ready for production. As such, the exterior looks quite familiar, with nearly identical styling, save for smaller wheels and larger sideview mirrors. The front end has the same X-shaped styling lines and trapezoidal central grille in the fascia, plus vertical lighting elements in the corners. The roofline falls back into the rear end to give it an aggressive profile, while the rear end incorporates L-shaped tail lamps and further vertical styling lines.

Standard spec includes 20-inch split six-spoke wheels, with 22-inchers optional.

As for the interior spec, the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq features a 33-inch advanced LED display across the dash, while a 19-speaker AKG Studio stereo provides the tunes. The crossover also comes with Cadillac’s next-generation Active Noise Cancellation system and the option for the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system. The interior color combo featured above is Sky Cool Gray with Galvano Accents.

The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq is powered by a 12-module, 100 kWh battery pack that juices a single electric motor good for 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Cadillac estimates upwards of 300 miles per charge, with 3.5 miles of range per hour from a 120-volt source, 52 miles of range per hour from a 240-volt source (19.2 kW AC), and 195 miles of range in 30 minute using DC Fast Charge.

The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq will hit production in the first quarter of the 2022 calendar year, with reservations opening in September of 2021. Pricing starts at $59,990.
