Performance enthusiasts eager to get their hands on a new go-faster Cadillac are in luck, as the luxury marque has no less than two new sporty four-doors just over the horizon, including the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, and its smaller sibling, the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing. Now, we’re getting a few insights into what the upcoming CT4-V Blackwing will offer in terms of straight-line speed.
According to a recent post from AutoVerdict, the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing performance specs have been laid out in an order guide which the publication recently acquired. Although we could not confirm the authenticity of the alleged order guide, the various performance specs referenced do line up with those previously reported by Cadillac Society.
It all starts under the hood, where the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing will feature the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 (production code LF4), the same gasoline engine equipped by the Cadillac ATS-V. Although the order guide does not include exact output figures, it bears mentioning that the ATS-V was rated at 464 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, suggesting that the CT4-V Blackwing will likely produce roughly equivalent output numbers.
Furthermore, the order guide goes on to list a top speed of 189 mph, and a 0-to-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds. Naturally, those figures slot in under those of the upcoming 2022 CT5-V Blackwing, which, as Cadillac Society reported previously, will be capable of breaking 200 mph and will hit 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, all thanks to the CT5-V Blackwing’s supercharged 6.2L V8 (production code LT4). For reference, the CT5-V Blackwing is expected to dole out more than 640 horsepower.
Like the CT5-V Blackwing, the CT4-V Blackwing will offer two transmission options, including a Tremec six-speed manual as standard and a 10-speed automatic as an option. Further options will include magnesium wheels. The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing will launch this summer.

The ATS-V also had a 189 MPH top speed so perhaps HP remains at 465?
