2021 Cadillac XT4 Offers New Onyx Sport Package

First rolling off the line for the 2019 model year, the Cadillac XT4 is the luxury marque’s smallest crossover utility model. Now, the latest 2021 Cadillac XT4 offers buyers the option to customize their vehicle with the new Onyx Sport Package, a styling upgrade that adds a personalized touch to the compact CUV.

The 2021 Cadillac XT4 Onyx Sport Package includes just a few pieces of equipment, but the net effect on the crossover’s styling is substantial. The package contents include (relevant production code listed in parentheses):

  • Black Surround Grille With Black Mesh (RZ9)
  • 20-inch Gloss Black Wheels (SKW)
  • Monochromatic Cadillac Emblems (SFZ)

The 2021 Cadillac XT4 Onyx Sport Package is offered on XT4 Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels. Pricing is set at $2,595.

As Cadillac Society covered previously, the Monochromatic Cadillac Emblems are also offered as a standalone accessory on the XT4, priced at $125. The accessory includes a kit with two new emblems, which replace the front and rear emblems equipped from the factory with new high-quality pieces made from the same material as the factory components. The front emblem “clicks” into the front grille, while the rear emblem sticks to the hatch via a peel-and-stick adhesive.

The Monochromatic Cadillac Emblems are the same size and shape as the factory emblems, but replace the colors of the original logo with various shades of gray.

The monochromatic design scheme was first introduced with the 2021 Cadillac Escalade as part of the SUV’s own Onyx Package. Like the similarly named package offered by the 2021 Cadillac XT4, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade Onyx Package includes new Monochromatic Cadillac emblems and a new black-finish wheels, as well as a Gloss Black Escalade nameplate.

The 2021 Cadillac XT4 arrives with a few minor changes and updates over the preceding model year, including highlights like two new exterior colors, the addition of standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and deletion of the Sport Dynamics Preferred Package.
