The 2021 Cadillac CT5 is one of the latest Caddy models to offer Super Cruise, the luxury brand’s semi-autonomous driving assist feature that allows the driver to remove their hands from the steering wheel during extended highway driving. However, opting into Super Cruise requires certain packages and options, with different requirements specific to each CT5 trim level. Now, we’re taking a look at what it really costs to get Super Cruise with the 2021 CT5.
The 2021 Cadillac CT5 offers Super Cruise on Premium Luxury and CT5-V trim levels, both with and without the Platinum Package. Let’s start with the Premium Luxury, which starts at $41,790. Opting into Super Cruise with this trim requires AWD and the turbocharged 3.0L V6 (product code LGY) engine, but both AWD and the 3.0L V6 require their own respective options, including the Climate Package for the former, and the Navigation and Bose Premium Audio Package for the latter.
Super Cruise also requires the Parking Package, the Driver Assist and Advanced Security Package, the Technology Package, the Lighting Package, and the Driver Awareness Plus Package.
All told, adding in Super Cruise requires an additional $16,680 in upgrades over the 2021 Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury base MSRP. Add in the Platinum Package, and much of the required equipment listed above is included, but an additional $19,850 is still added to the bottom line when compared to the Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury base MSRP.
In the case of the Cadillac CT5-V, Super Cruise requires the Premium Package, the Driver Awareness Plus Package, the Driver Assist and Advanced Security Package, the Parking Package, and the Leather Seating Surfaces Package. Final pricing is $13,830 over the base MSRP for the 2021 Cadillac CT5-V, while adding in the Platinum package ups the final MSRP an additional $16,530 over the base CT5-V MSRP.
The least-expensive option for a 2021 Cadillac CT5 with Super Cruise is the Premium Luxury trim without the Platinum Package, which is offered at $58,470 when equipped with all the content required for the feature.
