2021 Cadillac CT5 Diamond Sky Special Edition: First Photos

Back in August, Cadillac Society was first to report that the 2021 model year Cadillac CT5 will introduce a new package called Diamond Sky Special Edition. Today, Cadillac has officially released the very first photos of the 2021 Cadillac CT5 Diamond Sky Special Edition, which we’re sharing with you here.

Available exclusively on the Premium Luxury trim level, this special edition package features unique components both inside, and out.

Exterior features:

  • Diamond Sky Metallic exterior color exclusive to the package
  • Front grille from Luxury/Premium Luxury models
  • 19-inch alloy wheels with Diamond Cut/Midnight Silver finish and all-season run-flat tires
  • Available 20-inch alloy wheels with Polished/Dark Android Gloss finish and all-season run-flat tires
  • Body-color rocker moldings and extensions
  • Body-color rear lower air diffuser
  • Neutral-density tail lamps with gray-tinted transparent outer lens and crystalline inners
  • Brembo V Performance front brakes
  • Blue brake calipers at all four corners

Interior features:

  • Sky Cool Gray interior with Jet Black accents with exclusive Diamond Fall custom seat insert perforation
  • Galaxy wood trim
  • Alloy driver pedals

The package also includes a key fob with Diamond Sky Metallic accents with the Cadillac crest logo.

It’s worth noting that the package represents the first time that Cadillac has offered the neutral-density (clear) tail lamps on a CT5 in Premium Luxury trim. Typically, this tail lamp treatment is reserved for Sport and V-Series models, while Luxury and Premium Luxury models get red lenses. Additionally, opting for the Diamond Sky Special Edition package is the only way to get the Diamond Sky Metallic exterior color, which is new for the 2021 model year. The package can not be ordered with any other exterior or interior colors.

Opting for the 2021 Cadillac CT5 Diamond Sky Special Edition package will automatically add the Climate Package, which includes:

  • Heated driver and front passenger seats
  • Automatic heated steering wheel
  • Ventilated driver and front passenger seats

The 2021 Cadillac CT5 Diamond Sky Special Edition package will become available to order in early 2021.

Pricing info for the new package is currently unknown, but we should find it out soon and report back once we have it. In the meantime, we invite you to subscribe to Cadillac Society for more Cadillac CT5 news and around-the-clock Cadillac news coverage.

  1. Sorry…it still doesn’t look like a Cadillac and although it has a pretty long wheelbase the lack of width makes it feel very small and claustrophobic inside. I could sit behind the steering wheel and easily touch the passenger side door. I’m glad I was able to get one of the last CT6s…guess I’ll have to keep it forever. Sorry Cadillac, but after 40 years and 18 new Cadillacs, my 2021 XT5, Platinum, currently on order, may be my last one.

      “…doesn’t look like a Cadillac….”

….is exactly what the owner of a 2001 Seville would say about your CT6 and XT5.

  2. I like it!

The paint color is very nice. Also, the inclusion of the Neutral Density tail lamps is great. I’ve always liked them. I’m very interested to see the interior, and “real-world” photos of the car.

I hope I can “Oder” one next year. 😉 (Spell check)

The CT5 is 1″ WIDER (74″) than the XTS (73″)

  4. I think the car has great proportions. Love my XTS, but it’s proportions are off a bit. Best they could do with the existing chassis. CT6 just too ponderous looking for me. CT5 on my horizon but not with run flats that ride and sound like they are filled with cement.

  5. If I ever won a huge lottery, or heck. Any kind of winning. I would buy that car in a New York City Second. Faster than a heart beat. To me that is one BEAUTIFUL car. And then some. I honestly can tell you that my heart was beating faster when I saw this car. Mary Barra is running that company right and spot on. Whoever and I know there were more than many that was involved with the design and everything else did one FANTASTIC job. Mary, Could you help this 62 year old Disabled American. My Life Partner who is honestly very ill and time is ticking wants to travel and he can only travel by car. He doesn’t and can’t drive any more. We have a 2007 STS and when I bought it in 2016, I fell in love. From now on I will only buy a Cadillac after owning the STS. Cadillac runs in this family’s blood. My Grandfather would only buy a Cadillac. And that’s where I got the original love for Cadillac. My Grandfather did some interior cloth seating design and other things for Cadillac. He was in textile. One year, he took my Mother out to buy 50 neck ties, personally for 25 of the Top Executives he worked with. And it wasn’t good enough for him to have the store wrap them, so he took my Mother home and they HAND wrapped all 50, and then went to Detroit to deliver them personally. I’m sorry to bother you any others with a story like this, that one may think this is a sob story. But that is really the truth. So, as I said Cadillac runs in this family’s blood. Stay well out there in this “New Normal”Mary And Mary keep running GM as good as you do.
    Sincerely
A Cadillac Owner For The Rest of My Life!!! PROMISE.
