This Is One Cadillac XT6 Package Few Buyers Know About

We previously covered a little-known package for the Cadillac XT4, namely the Midnight Sport Package, which adds a number of unique styling touches to the small Caddy crossover. Now, we’re taking a look at a little-known Cadillac XT6 package.

It’s called the Radiant Package, and it too adds a few stylistic upgrades that customers may want to consider. This Cadillac XT6 package is only offered on the Premium Luxury trim level, and is tagged with production code PDV. To note, the Radiant Package is an LPO-level option, which mean it’s ordered with the vehicle, and is thus factored into the vehicle pricing, finance, and lease rates, but installed by the dealer.

To demonstrate how this Cadillac XT6 package looks when applied to the vehicle, we’ve pulled images of the 2020 Cadillac XT6 both with it (pictured right), and without it (pictured left) for some side-by-side comparison. This particular example is covered in Dark Mocha Metallic paint.

The Radiant Package includes the following content (production code included in parentheses):

  • 20-inch polished wheels (S1R)
  • Bright grille with Galvano surround (SJB)
  • Illuminated cargo sill plate (5RU)

Pricing is set at $2,995. The Radiant Package for the 2020 Cadillac XT6 is not available with the Gloss Black grille (SJA) with Black surround, LPO, or any other LPO-level wheels.

For those buyers that want to add a little extra visual impact to their vehicle, this package could be just the ticket. The combination of new wheels and a new grille goes a surprisingly long way, while the rear illuminated cargo sill is a nice addition as well.

  1. $5.00 short of $ 3000 is a HUGE rip off. Where is the VALUE? When you go to trade in dollars you will probably get $150 if that.

    • If you have to ask about “value” on a luxury brand, you just don’t get it.

Want value? See Chevy or Buick or Toyota. Not Cadillac and particularly not BMW or Mercedes.

  2. Cadillac needs to get with the program Re: wheel design for the XT5 and XT6. The current offerings are not attractive at all.
Look at the competition and you will see how big a factor attractive wheel design can be.
They need to offer fresh looks for these models without having to go to special option packages; current offerings just don’t do it!

    • There are seven wheel choices to choose from on the 2020 XT6… all available a-la-carte. They cover the gamut of multi-spoke luxury designs to wide-spoke sporty ones. The option packages exist to bundle them together, if one so desires, for easier configuration and ordering.
