U.S. production of the Cadillac XTS ended in February of 2019, a little over seven years after the nameplate first rolled off the assembly line in 2012. Although production of the four-door continues in China, anyone looking to grab a new example of the XTS won’t need to go overseas in order to do so. That’s because there are still new Cadillac XTS sedans for sale at dealers here in the States, some of which are offered with significant savings, as evidenced by this particular example from Missouri.
Featured here is a 2017 Cadillac XTS in the Luxury trim, which comes equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LFX), which is tuned to produce 304 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 264 pound-feet of torque at 5,300 rpm. The ‘six sends power exclusively to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission, while dual-mode Magnetic Ride Control keeps the four-door glued to the road, and Brembo front brakes work to slow it down.
Outside, we find this Cadillac XTS covered in Stellar Black Metallic paint, which pairs with 19-inch aluminum wheels with a premium painted finish. The wheels are wrapped in 245/45R19 tires, while up front, there’s a Sport grille treatment.
Moving inside, the cabin space is draped in Kona Brown leather upholstery with Jet Black accents. There’s natural finish wood trim throughout that adds a nice complement to the hide. The front seats are eight-way power adjustable, with four-way manual head adjustments. The multifunction steering wheel is heated as well.
Tech offerings include Automatic Parking Assist with parallel, rear, and perpendicular parking features, Bluetooth phone streaming for music, electronic cruise control, and a customizable Diver Information Center. There’s also onboard navigation, as well as a 4G LTE built-in WiFi hotspot, SiriusXM Satellite radio, and wireless phone charging.
Now, this new 2017 Cadillac XTS is up for sale at Autry Morlan Cadillac in Dexter, Missouri, listed at $42,500. That’s a savings of $11,945 over the original MSRP of $54,445.

I agree it was on of their best. That said a 2017 XTS can be found in the $20k range with low miles. This greedy dealer needs to put it into loaner svc then take the minimal loss… $42k for a 4 year old, discontinued vehicle is nuts, especially when the 2018 refresh looks a lot better
