Before it was indirectly replaced by the Cadillac CT4, the Cadillac ATS was the model to get for sporty compact luxury with a Caddy crest on the nose. Model variants include the Cadillac ATS-V, a pumped-up, high-performance four-door with a turbocharged heart and all the right bits and pieces to assault an apex or two, but without sacrificing ride or comfort. Now, there’s a brand-new example of the ATS-V up for sale at a dealer in Illinois.
Offered by McLaughlin Cadillac in the city of Moline, this particular Cadillac ATS-V hails from the 2018 model year, the penultimate model year in the ATS’ lifespan. And with just nine miles showing on the odometer, this is very likely one of the last brand-new Cadillac ATS-V sedans in existence.
The big attraction of this fast four-door is undoubtedly what’s lurking under the hood under the hood. Peeling back those top vents, we find a twin-turbo 3.6L DOHC V6 gas engine, which is tuned to produce upwards of 464 horsepower and 444 pound-feet of torque. All that power is routed through a six-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Match. An eight-speed automatic was also offered, but this model gets the three-pedal setup, making it all the rarer.
And did we mention how good it looks? This 2018 Cadillac ATS-V is covered in Red Obsession Tintcoat paint, while the leather interior is finished in Jet Black.
Standout options include a premium 10-speaker audio system from Bose, red Brembo calipers, and the Driver Awareness Package, which tosses in goodies like Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and more.
We’re certainly drooling over this very hot luxury sled, and with pricing set at $60,900, more than $12,000 off the $72,930 MSRP, we’d be surprised if it stuck around for too much longer.

I thought the V’s were highly sought after. Odd to see one sitting around nearly 2 years un-sold. Especially with such a thick discount.

They are-were highly sought after. Chances are, this vehicle was used as a dealer demo or driven by its management, and hence wasn’t really marketed.
