Despite the planned discontinuation of the ATS Sedan following the 2018 model year, Cadillac is keeping the ATS Coupe for at least one model year. But contrary to what some may expect, the 2019 ATS Coupe isn’t getting any new features. Instead, it’s losing three colors and a transmission option.
Colors
The 2019 Cadillac ATS Coupe sees the following three colors deleted:
- Phantom Gray Metallic
- Midnight Sky Metallic
- Silver Moonlight Metallic
Their deletion means that the 2019 ATS Coupe will be offered only with the following hues:
- Dark Adriatic Blue Metallic
- Crystal White Tricoat
- Red Obsession Tintcoat
- Satin Steel Metallic
- Radiant Silver Metallic
- Stellar Black Metallic
- Black Raven
Transmission
The 2019 ATS Coupe also deletes the 6-speed manual transmission, leaving the 8-speed automatic as the only transmission option for the turbocharged 2.0L I-4 LTG engine or the naturally-aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX motor.
And that does it for the updates and changes to the 2019 Cadillac ATS Coupe, which will likely be the last year of the model as it is replaced with the upcoming Cadillac CT5.

I wonder if the new CT5 will be available in a Coupe
Alex Luft
One can only hope. What we know so far is that Cadillac initially planned to have a CT5 coupe, but so far we haven’t heard more about it… stay tuned for if/when we do.

Do I understand that to mean Cadillac will not have a Coupe in its 2020 offerings and just offer instead 3 sedans….CT5, XTS, and CT6,…also CT3 when it arrives, and CT4. So, eventually, when the XTS goes away Cadillac’s lineup will be….CT3 SEDAN, CT4 SEDAN, CT5 SEDAN, and, CT6 SEDAN…That’s some lineup, very competitive with BMW, Audi, MB, and Lexus…..and those GM execs get paid how much???
