Almost bought a “V” many years ago but couldn’t afford the 65,000 price tag. Ended up with a nice car but not what I wanted. Now I was able to land in the 250 class and my 2022 CT5V Blackwing is ordered. Black Raven, 6 Speed “obviously”, Carbon Fiber Package 1, Satin Graphite Wheels with black lugs and locks, Red Calipers, Torch Red seat belts, Mid grade Jet Black seats and LPO Interior protection package.

Anyone else order one out there? Can’t wait to see them and get “REAL” reviews on how they perform.

    Hey there

I was able to secure one of the 250 as well, but the dealer is informing me that I have to present in person to order. He says he is unable to e-mail me a PDF or options sheet of the packages, options, colors, and prices. Have you experienced this?

    Thanks

    Ricky

Hey guys I also got one of the 250. Black with black/grey interior. Red seatbelts and calipers. Carbon seats- interior 3. Carbon pack 2. 6 speed. Satin wheels with black lugs. Added the roof as well.

My dealer emailed me ebrochure and build sheets…
Not sure if thats only because im in the business, however I don’t and never have worked for this or any cadillac dealership. It did show dealer cost as well.

All in all, i am excited to get the ct5. I also missed my chance at a v2 wagon and regret it. Regardless of it being the best looking v, it will most certainly be the best driving v. Thats what im looking for.

Just locked in my order today. Summit White with Sky Cool Grey/Black with carbon fiber seat backs. 6 speed manual, Torch red seatbelt, Carbon fiber 2, Tech package, Red calipers, Driver awareness plus package, Climate package, Sunroof, Sueded Microfiber interior accents, Performance data and video recorder, Polished/Android rims.

Was at the Rolex 24 and saw the car running the track from the motorhome and figured it would hold it’s value if for some reason I don’t love it – was looking at a few other cars to purchase so this was not planned. Not sure if it’s me but also kind of difficult buying a $100k car without seeing (in person)/touching/driving it. Looking forward to this summer when we hopefully should be on the road enjoying. I am also hopeful they limit production as getting one of the first of these beasts has certainly made me feel a little lucky!

Ricky, long story short told same thing. They should be able to do it over the phone but I’m sure they will want you to sign off on the build.

Thanks for letting me know. I’m planning on ordering today. Will I receive an order number after the build is submitted? I need to submit that build number to Cadillac by March 12.

Well, sorry I haven’t replied to any of these……all went into spam and just now realized it. Anyways, I switched dealers and the second one did it all over the phone. There was a neat build brochure that went out to dealers that I just got from another forum. All in all it is hard to order not seeing them in person. Colors on the brochure aren’t very accurate. Torn between a few but colors are all about a person’s likes. Regardless, it’s not the color, it’s how nice these cars are going to drive. I hope anyway!

I have ordered one but my dealer couldn’t answer all my questions. I just found this website and hope to compare information. Is Cadillac limiting the production to just 250 or was that just the initial registration number? I used a build sheet to order, but did not receive a build brochure. Is this something you could share? Also, the build sheet did not offer magnesium wheels. I ordered the Q61 satin graphite, but would be interested in any info on the Mg.

Tpw dates released last week for reservation orders. Your dealer can get you yours or go to Cadillac.com and chat with them. Have your order number available. Mine is 7-19.

Do you want a blackwing? Well, I do and this is what I know so far!
I went on the website to order but they were all sold on first day. Since I owned a Honda Motorcycle Dealer for forty years and did all the ordering all that time. I could see myself ordering one for my dealership using a friend or employee to place the order, and I would supply the 1,000.00 deposit, and then worry about it later. I never had to do this with Honda, but I did have to pay care full attention to the ordering process.
So, I said to myself “well I have a 2017 CTS-V all I need to do is buy a carbon fiver rear wing and I would have the best of both cars”. The front end of a 17 and the back end of the 22. But I did put my name on the waiting list. A few days later I got the call from the dealer. Of course, they wanted to sell me a CT5-V. (Not interested). Last month I got a call from someone I know at that dealer that had delivered my 2017-V. He wanted to have me come in and make an order sheet for the Blackwing? I asked, “are they going to build it”? He did not know!
I went in a few days later after researching everything on a multiple of websites, I requested Rift color which was the closest I could find to white metallic. And took the cool gray with jet black accents for the interior. I also took every accessory except the Auto trans and ceramic brakes. If you order the ceramic brakes, you get color coded key fob and disk brake calipers, so maybe I made a mistake here. I also skipped the red seat bults? I offered a deposit to the dealer, but they declined which was a good idea because, if I someone had given them a deposit and the car was not delivered some A-hole could have a lawsuit against the dealer.
Last week I was in the dealership with another Caddy and I asked them again “no word yet but they are not going to build it thill the end of summer.”
So that’s where we are now! Maybe I will get my Third V-car form Cadillac or maybe not. But I still have a great Cadillac Dealer, Val Ward Cadillac in Fort Myers Fl. My local Chevy dealer wanted 163.00 to change the oil in my Z06, Val Ward did the same service for less than 90.00.

Just ordered my Blackwing and received the Preliminary Build Sheet from GM. Doesn’t seem to be a lot of Blackwing posts recently on this forum. Is there a forum focused on Blackwings?

I ordered my 5 Blackwing on February 22, have my build sheet and order number but still no word from GM whenI can expect the car. I am from Canada and feel like we are kind of being ignored
