External cd player in my 2020 XT5

    Does anyone know how to index an external cd player through the usb input on the 2020 XT5? I plug it in and it does not find the new device on the source screen.
    I know the cd player works because it plugs and plays on my Ford Explorer. Does Cadillac have a special way to connect an external device?
