CTS coupe with 55K miles on it has a cracked cylinder wall, rendering the engine and car to be totaled. Dealer tells me that I need a $13K engine on a car that’s worth maybe $18K to $19K. Warranty is for 100K miles and even though I’m a few years past the ‘age’ on the warranty, I’m well within the mileage. For a car that has the supposed quality of a Caddy, the engine blows at 55K miles. This car is literally totaled at 55K miles!!! Caddy dealer and corporate is unwilling to offer ANY goodwill at all…even though I’ve owned Caddy’s all my life. Not even a YUGO blows up at 55K miles. Caddy is a total POS and I will never buy another. ALL of you reading this should be aware of why Caddy has dropped drastically in quality ratings. This is perfect example of the lever of quality and caring that they now offer. BAD RATINGS ARE WELL DESERVED !!!
