2019 Cadillac XT4 – 56,714, Noticed an oil leak from around the valve cover gasket near the T joint with the timing chain cover on the passenger side rear of the engine. Between oil changes I had to add about a half a quart of oil. Should be covered under powertrain warranty. Scheduled an appointment for 08/22/22. Only Premium Gas Used – No modifications. Will update with any information.

    inspection there is
oil leaking at the front of the engine
which has damaged a coolant hose under the oil pan. performed fluid leak analysis by cleaning the engine compartment adding dye, then test
driving the vehicle, and re-inspecting the leak with a black light. oil is leaking at the camshaft carrier gasket, where the carrier
the upper cover, and engine block form
a t-joint. R&R the cam carrier to replace the gasket and re-seal it to the engine to repair.
test drove vehicle to verify no dc’s are set as a result of the repair and no further oil leaks found at this time.
