The 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V was recently introduced with a myriad of performance enhancements over the less spectacular non-V model. Now, we’re zeroing in on yet another difference between the go-fast and regular version: the availability of two top-shelf paint finishes for the Optiq-V, one of which is exclusive to the V-series model.
The two exterior colors in question are Magnus Metal Frost and Deep Ocean Tintcoat. Magnus is a matte gray, while Deep Ocean is a deep, rich blue.
Notably, Magnus Metal Frost is available on other Cadillac vehicles – including the CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre and CT4-V Blackwing Petit Pataud special edition sedans – and typically carries a $5,925 price tag. Meanwhile, Deep Ocean Tintcoat is not yet offered on any other vehicle produced by the luxury marque, and carries an extra charge of $1,225 – on par with the cost for other Cadillac tintcoat paint options.
2026 Cadillac Optiq-V pricing in the U.S. is set at $68,795, including the destination charge.
In total, the 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V color palette is comprised of eight different hues, including:
- Argent Silver Metallic
- Black Raven
- Monarch Orange
- Nimbus Metallic
- Polar White Tricoat
- Radiant Red Tintcoat
- Magnus Metal Frost
- Deep Ocean Tintcoat
Each paint option is also available with a contrasting Black roof. Meanwhile, the non-V-Series Optiq offers two colors that the Optiq-V does not – Celestial Metallic and Coastal Blue Metallic.
In addition to the slightly different color palettes, the Optiq-V is bestowed with other exterior enhancements that distinguish it from the non-model. Such features include a unique V-pattern mesh grille, high-gloss front splitter, rocker extensions, and body-colored lower trim as well as satin graphite 21-inch wheels and V-Series badging.
On the inside, the Optiq-V is elevated with V-series seat embroidery and performance steering wheel with a V-mode button. The 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V makes 519 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, and can sprint from a standstill to 60 miles per hour in just 3.5 seconds, per Cadillac’s estimates.
