Curated By Cadillac To Offer 160 Colors For CT5-V Blackwing

For the 2024 model year, Cadillac built 21 special edition CT5-V Blackwing sedans, which were available in 20 exclusive color options. Building on that approach – and channeling Celestiq-level customization – the luxury marque is now rolling out a similar program for the 2026 model year.

Dubbed ‘Curated by Cadillac’, it gives customers access to as many as 160 different hand-painted exterior color options as well as an expanded selection of interior colors and materials. With millions of different combinations available, customers will have the ability to ensure that their CT5-V Blackwing is truly one of a kind.

“Curated by Cadillac embodies our commitment to delivering an elevated level of customization,” said John Roth, vice president, Global Cadillac. “Drawing upon experience from the ultra-luxury, hand-built Celestiq, we are now offering a limited number of CT5-V Blackwing customers an opportunity to create a vehicle that is as unique as their own story.”

Enthusiasts – or shall we say, connoisseurs – are sure to appreciate the tailor-made approach, however, with so few units available there’ll undoubtedly be plenty of sour grapes. But as any armchair economist will tell you, if supply is too high, then demand will be low.

Pricing for the Curated by Cadillac 2026 CT5-V Blackwing starts at approximately $158,000. For reference, the base MSRP is $99,095 for the 2026 model year. For the money, buyers will receive a hand-built Blackwing, with production taking place at Cadillac’s Artisan Center in Warren, Michigan. Notably, the program is only available to buyers in the U.S. and Canada.

Although hand-assembled, the hardware will still be the familiar supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine with a choice of either a six-speed manual transmission or 10-speed automatic. A sample model demonstrating the possibilities will be on display at Concours Village in Pebble Beach on August 14th and 15th.

  3. “Starting price” at $158,000 bucks for a car that is “maybe” valued at $125,000. So glad I got my 2022 CT5-V BW for just under $100k. GM is definitely going after “boutique” clientele and not the regular performance car enthusiast. I expect to see the Kardashians doing Cadillac commercials very soon.

  4. Rick is right. Exceptional performance is worth the true market value, not palming it off as an “investment grade” opportunity.
