Cadillac Dealer Inventory, Transaction Prices Up During May 2025

In May 2025, Cadillac dealer inventory increased, as did the average transaction prices (ATPs) that customers paid for vehicles.

Per the numbers from Cox Automotive, Cadillac dealer inventory climbed from an 83 days’ supply in April 2025 to an 87 days’ supply in May. This also represents an increase on a year-over-year basis, as May 2024 inventory was 83 days’ supply.

For context, a 60 days supply is the optimal industry standard as it means enough vehicles are on-hand for 60 days’ of sales. The current industry average is 70 days.

The Cadillac CT4 sedan, Optiq crossover, and Escalade IQ SUV have the highest estimated inventory levels. Conversely, the gasoline-powered Cadillac Escalade has the lowest inventory levels out of the marque’s entire lineup.

The fact that Cadillac dealers are having success with the ICE-powered Escalade is by no means breaking news. The vehicle has established itself as Cadillac’s best-seller, delivering the highest profit margins for the luxury marque. As such, the Escalade’s strong sales performance is likely contributing to the increase in the average transaction price, which was $80,002 in May 2025.

This represents an increase of 10.9 percent compared to $72,114 in May 2024, and a three-percent growth month-over-month (compared to April 2025).
