After posting its first positive quarterly result of the 2024 calendar year in Q3, Cadillac sales continued in the green with a strong double-digit increase during Q4. The luxury marque finished 2024 very strong, with both its second consecutive quarterly increase and its best quarter since 2016. In fact, the cumulative total also represents the highest volume since 2016.
Cadillac’s strong Q4 momentum in the U.S. was supported by increases across the vast majority of models – with the exception of its two sedans. Surpassing 13K deliveries across both body configurations, the Cadillac Escalade was the marque’s best-seller, returning to growth after several quarters in the red. We posit that the uptick was the result of the refreshed 2025 model.
Additionally, the Cadillac XT5 managed a standout performance in the fourth quarter, posting a strong year-over-year increase that make it Cadillac’s second-best-selling model, following several quarters in third place. The internal combustion crossover was closely followed by the Cadillac Lyriq, the marque’s fastest-growing model with the highest increase rate. In fact, the Lyriq’s perforamnce in Q4 represents a new quarterly sales record for the model. Meanwhile, the all-new, fully-electric Cadillac Escalade IQ recorded its first 670 deliveries.
The performance-enhanced battery electric crossover will be part of Cadillac’s fifth-generation V-Series portfolio.
Dealers will be able to begin placing orders on July 10th, 2025.
Production of the crossover ended back in January.
The delay is reportedly due to software development and production logistics.
The luxury marque is set to compete in 2026, albeit with a Ferrari engine.
Only 50 units will be built with the package, which includes blue tinted carbon fiber…
