As Cadillac Society has covered extensively, the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq gains several welcome changes and updates, such as the addition of 100 new interior ambient lighting colors, the deletion of the base Tech trim, and the addition of several unique exterior accent packages. Now, we’ve learned that another new feature is slated for the 2025 Lyriq: front passenger seat memory.
The memory front passenger seat (production code A44) will be standard on all 2025 Lyriq trims, including Luxury 1, Luxury 2, Luxury 3, Sport 1, Sport 2, and Sport 3. The package includes two preset seat positions for the front passenger, similar to the feature that has been available for the driver’s seat. The Memory Package (production code AAB) – which rounds up the power driver seat, outside mirrors, along with the power tilt and telescoping steering column – will also be standard on every 2025 Lyriq trim, a first for the electric luxury crossover.
Despite the addition of the front passenger memory features, the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq will be more streamlined than the prior 2023 and 2024 model years. That’s because the luxury marque is decreasing the number of parts utilized by the battery electric vehicle by 24 percent, helping control costs. As Cadillac Society recently reported, the 2025 Lyriq is also less expensive than its 2024 model year predecessor, starting at $59,990 for the base Luxury 1 trim in rear-wheel-drive (RWD) guise.
The 2025 Lyriq is also more powerful than its predecessors, featuring more horsepower than the 2024 model. The RWD variant is now rated at 365 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup comes in at 515 total system horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Those figures represent increases of 25 horsepower and 15 horsepower, respectively. The 2025 Cadillac Lyriq lineup is also expected to expand to include the high-performance Cadillac Lyriq-V, as previously reported by Cadillac Society. When it does launch, this model will be the most powerful Lyriq to date.
The 2025 Cadillac Lyriq rides on the luxury marque’s BEV3 platform. Production is handled at the Cadillac Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for North America.

This absolutely useless passenger memory is now standard equipment in every trim at a time when every Lyriq owner is a angry that they don’t have a HUD when cars that cost half as much, do.
