Cadillac parent, General Motors, has issued a recall for certain units of the 2024 Cadillac XT4, which may have an issue with their owner’s manuals.
The problem: affected vehicles may have a condition where they fail to conform to certain owner’s manual content requirements of the Federal / Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (F/CMVSS), including S12 of FMVSS No. 225, which refers to “Child restraint anchorage systems” and including section 22 of CMVSS No. 210.2, which refers to “Lower Universal Anchorage Systems for Restraint Systems and Booster Seats.”
The hazards: if this condition were to occur, owners may be confused about the safe use and operation of their vehicle, thus increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
The fix: a dealership technician will inspect affected vehicles and, if necessary, replace the owner’s manual, free of charge to 2024 Cadillac XT4 owners. This service is expected to take less than 30 minutes to perform.

Affected vehicles: 2024 Cadillac XT4.
Number of affected vehicles: this recall involves six units of the 2024 Cadillac XT4. Note that it also includes 16 examples of the 2024 Chevy Malibu, meaning 22 vehicles in total are included in this recall.
