2024 Cadillac Escalade No Longer Built With These Paint Colors

A handful of exterior paint colors have been built out for the 2024 Cadillac EscaladeCadillac Society has learned. In other words, the colors have reached the end of their production run and are no longer available on the full-size luxury SUV.

The four colors that have been built out for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade are Black Diamond Tricoat (paint code GLK), Dark Emerald Metallic (paint code G6N), Dark Moon Blue Metallic (paint code GLU) and Sandstone Metallic (paint code GJW). Of these, Dark Moon Blue Metallic and Sandstone Metallic had the longest runs. Both were introduced for the 2021 Escalade, and priced at $625 before being discontinued.

Meanwhile, Dark Emerald Metallic was new for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade. This color was also priced at $625. Finally, Black Diamond Tricoat had a one-year run, offered exclusively on the 2024 Escalade-V as a $1,225 option.

At this time, it’s not clear if any of the aforementioned exterior colors will be reintroduced for the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade, although it is highly unlikely. However, a handful of new colors are expected to join the lineup, although details regarding any new hues have yet to be revealed.

Production of the 2024 Cadillac Escalade at the Cadillac Arlington plant in Texas will conclude in October 2024 to make way for that of the refreshed 2025 Escalade.

Looking ahead, the biggest difference between the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade and its 2021-2024 model year predecessors will be its overhauled front end, consisting of a new set of Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and redesigned headlights. Inside, the full-size luxury SUV will get a coast-to-coast (or pillar-to-pillar) interior display that houses the digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel, the infotainment system, and a passenger side entertainment screen.

The 2025 Escalade will likely ditch the base Luxury trim as the luxury marque simplifies its trim level lineup. Additionally, as first reported by Cadillac Society, the luxury SUV will no longer offer the turbodiesel engine option, meaning that it will only be offered with gasoline-powered engines. The Cadillac Society Podcast, embedded above and below, outlines what we know and expect about the refreshed model.
