The 2025 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing has racing in its blood. To celebrate the luxury marque’s return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year, the CT4-V Blackwing is getting a new limited-edition variant – the Petit Pataud – as part of its Collector Series portfolio, sporting accents inspired by one of the first Cadillac race cars to tackle the endurance race in 1950.
The 2025 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Petit Pataud edition throws it back to its namesake, a modified 1960 Cadillac Series 61 that was nicknamed “Petit Pataud” by the French, which translates to “Little Clumsy.” The original Petit Pataud wore the No. 3 on its doors and hood and was powered by an eight-cylinder engine good for 160 horsepower at 3,800 RPM. Petit Pataud, alongside its sibling, another Caddy racer called Le Monstre, took on the 1950 24 Hours of Le Mans, averaging just over 80 mph and bringing home a 10th-place finish, five miles ahead of Le Monstre.
The CT4-V Blackwing Petit Pataud carries that same No. 3, albeit in a much more subtle manner. The number can be found in the lower corner of each front door along with an American flag decal, while the Petit Pataud script can be found on the carbon fiber side skirt just below the rear doors. The luxury super sedan features a Magnus Metal Frost paint scheme paired with Stormhawk Blue carbon fiber accents and Royal Blue brake calipers.
Inside, the No. 3 is stitched into the seatbacks, embossed on the shifter medallion, and engraved into the unique door sill plates. Customers can choose from two exclusive colorways – Jet Black/Phantom Blue or Sky Cool Gray/Phantom Blue, which is paired with Santorini accents and blue seat belts.
Production of the CT4-V Blackwing Petit Pataud is scheduled for early 2025. Only 50 units will be built, commemorating its namesake’s run in the 1950 24 Hours of Le Mans. It is offered alongside the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre Edition, of which only 101 units will be built.
Like all 2025 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing models – the Petit Pataud harnesses the luxury marque’s twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4), which makes 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. It can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission as standard or the 10-speed automatic as an option. Power is routed exclusively through the rear two wheels.

One of four new colors for the 2025 model year.
And it now represents the best value in its segment.
