2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing 20th Anniversary Special Edition: Only 21 Units Built

The Cadillac V-Series sub-brand is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2024, representing two decades of racing and high-performance history. As part of the celebration, the luxury marque has periodically released special products, like a custom Christmas ornament, this exclusive watch and special accents for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade-V and other 2024 V-Series models. The 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is the newest V-Series vehicle to receive special treatment in the form of the 20th Anniversary Special Edition models, of which only 21 will be produced – one for each year of V-Series.

Each 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing 20th Anniversary Special Edition package (production code ZLT) is completely bespoke, with a wealth of customization options hand-picked by each buyer – much like the Cadillac Celestiq. To start, customers are able to select from a palette of 20 exclusive colors. The super sedans undergo a painstaking 200-hour hand-painting process at the Milford Proving Grounds before being shipped to the Artisan Innovation Center at the GM Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan. There, the vehicles are pored over for an additional 250 to 300 hours during the extensive build and quality check process.

Customers are invited to pick and customize almost every aspect of their 2024 CT5-V Blackwing, such as the interior colorway,  wheels, wheel caps, and brake caliper colors. They are also able to select the Carbon Fiber 1 Package, Carbon Fiber 2 Package, or opt to forego this exterior accessory package altogether.

Perhaps the most unique aspect of the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing 20th Anniversary Special Edition build process is the invitation to select a specific “year” to tie their super sedan to, thereby allowing buyers to choose from 2004 to 2024, representing the entire V-Series timeline. This option was offered for an additional $7,120.

The 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing 20th Anniversary Special Edition package adds $36,000 to the overall cost of the super sedan. For reference, the 2024 CT5-V Blackwing starts at $94,890, including destination freight charges.

As a reminder, the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing harnesses the 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4), rated at 668 horses and 659 pound-feet of torque. Offered exclusively in rear-wheel-drive, the super sedan can be outfitted with either the standard six-speed manual transmission or optional 10-speed automatic.
