While Cadillac Society spies already spotted the 2025 Escalade Premium Luxury Platinum with no camo prior to its upcoming debut, we’ve yet to get a good look at its extended length ESV variant, until now, as Cadillac Society spy photos reveal the 2025 Escalade ESV Premium Luxury Platinum without any sort of masking.
As a reminder, the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV offers a little more space than the “regular” Escalade, thanks to its extended-length wheelbase that guarantees more breathing room and cargo capacity inside. Meanwhile, the Premium Luxury Platinum trim builds on the Premium Luxury trim be adding more features and options (per the Cadillac Y-trim level strategy), as well as equipping it with a unique grille. Additionally, the Premium Luxury trim is all about bright body accenting, as opposed to the blacked-out look on Sport and V-Series models.
This particular model, dressed in White Frost Tricoat (paint code G1W), this 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV Premium Luxury Platinum shows off its revised front end, which has been sculpted borrowing design cues from the all-electric Escalade IQ. Perhaps the most striking difference between the forthcoming model and its 2024 model year counterpart are its headlights, now divided between a set of thin, horizontally-oriented lights just beneath the seam of the hood; these serve as the turn signals or hazard indicators. Meanwhile, vertical headlight stacks, which – per the Premium Luxury motif – are outlined by a flashy, triangular chrome inlay, serve as the primary headlights. Etched graphics inside the chrome accent line up with the orientation of the headlights themselves.
Per typical Platinum trim level fashion, the grille itself sports thick horizontally oriented bars, also finished in bright polished chrome. The lower corners of the front fascia are emphasized by wing-style chrome accents braced against the lower air intake.
Looking at the 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV in profile reveals thick chrome window surrounds at the beltline, along with chrome accents on the lower doors. Multi-spoke chrome-finish wheels complete the look, as does the silvery accent running just behind the rear wheels, wrapping around to the rear fascia.
These photos don’t show it off, but the 2025 Escalade retains the iconic vertical taillights, albeit with upgraded inner graphics. As seen in the image below, which features the aforementioned 2025 Escalade Premium Luxury Platinum in black paint, shows off key details. Note the full-width chrome bar beneath the rear glass, which was present in the pre-refresh model. However, it’s complimented with a new chrome bar affixed above the license plate. The reflects within the rear fascia appear to have taken on a thinner shape, as are the chrome accent pieces that surround them. Meanwhile, the dual trapezoidal exhaust tips, outlined in chrome, seem to have been reshaped.
Inside, the Escalade ESV (and the rest of the Escalade line) gains a coast-to-coast (or pillar-to-pillar) interior display, which houses the digital instrument cluster, the infotainment system, and a passenger side entertainment screen, a first for the Escalade nameplate. This setup mirrors that in the Escalade IQ and Cadillac Celestiq.
Under the hood, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 engine (production code L87) will continue being the standard powerhouse for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade range, while the optional turbodiesel 3.0L I6 (production code LZ0) will be available in place of the outgoing 3.0L I6 (production code LM2). The luxury SUV will continue being underpinned by the T1 platform, and production will continue taking place at the Arlington plant in Texas.
