Cadillac Lyriq Accessory Roof Rack Now Available

When Cadillac Society had the opportunity to test drive the Cadillac Lyriq, we noticed that the electric crossover features clamp points integrated into the upper door jambs of the vehicle to hold cross bars for a roof rack. Over one year later, we couldn’t help but wonder where said roof rack was, but a Cadillac spokesperson assured us it was still on the way. Now, the wait is finally over, and the roof rack is available via the luxury marque’s accessories catalog

Tagged with part No. 85009925, the Cadillac Lyriq roof rack is a standalone option that costs $531.25. It’s finished in Bright Anodized Aluminum, and is specifically designed to fit the electric crossover. Once installed, it serves as an ideal foundation for various cargo rooftop systems, including cargo carriers, watersport carriers, winter sport carriers or bike racks. When not in use, it can be easily detached and stored. However, the luxury marque recommends initial installation by an authorized dealer to prevent damage to the vehicle.

The roof rack is compatible with all 2024 Cadillac Lyriq trim levels, including Tech, Luxury and Sport. Buyers can pick it up themselves at the dealership for no extra cost, or elect to have it shipped to their home for $23. Meanwhile, having it shipped to a dealership and installed onsite costs $50.

As a reminder, the Lyriq rides on the luxury marque’s BEV3 platform, and is assembled at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for all markets except for China. The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq can be outfitted with either a single Ultium Drive motor on the rear axle or opt to add a second Ultium Drive motor to the front axle, granting all-wheel-drive.

Rear-wheel-drive boasts an approximate driving range of 308 miles from a single charge, delivering 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Selecting all-wheel-drive grants 307 miles of driving range per charge, along with a much more potent 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque.
