2025 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Drops These Paint Colors

Despite a previously uncertain future, the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing will be produced for the 2025 model year in the U.S., although without any major changes or updates. However, there will be some changes to the 2025 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing color lineup, as Cadillac Society has learned that the super sedan will leave a handful of exterior paint options behind.

The four colors that will be retired once the 2024 CT4-V Blackwing is built out are Black Diamond Tricoat (paint code GLK), Mercury Silver Metallic (paint code GKA), Midnight Steel Metallic (paint code GXU) and Velocity Red (paint code G7C).

Black Diamond Tricoat was exclusively available on the 2024 CT4-V Blackwing Arrival Edition, which was one of three special Mondrian Edition packages introduced to celebrate 20 years of V-Series vehicles. Mercury Silver Metallic was also exclusive to a Mondrian Edition super sedan, found only on the CT4-V Blackwing Arrival Edition.

Velocity Red was offered on the “regular” CT4-V Blackwing, where it was first introduced for the super sedan’s 2024 model year, making it a one-year-only color. Finally, Midnight Steel Metallic was introduced for the 2023 CT4-V Blackwing, but will also be stricken from the order books once production of the 2024 model ends.

Additionally, Cadillac Society has learned that three new colors are inbound for the 2025 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing: Deep Space Metallic (paint code GAI), Drift Metallic (paint code GAE) and Typhoon Metallic (paint code GBW). As of this writing, the luxury marque has not released pricing or availability for these colors, and there are no available photos of them yet.
