The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq is offered in eight exterior paint colors, one of which is Celestial Metallic. However, Cadillac Society has now learned that this hue is currently unavailable to order on the electric luxury crossover.
Thankfully, the constraint appears to be temporary. According to what Cadillac Society has heard through the grapevine, customers interested in acquiring the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq in Celestial Metallic (paint code GJY) are being told by dealers that the color will become available again in late 2024.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that Cadillac has already built and shipped 2024 Lyriqs in Celestial Metallic paint, allowing us to safely conclude that the color is currently on constraint, but will be offered on 2024 model-year Lyriqs later on in the model year.
When it is available, Celestial Metallic is a $625 option for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq, and is available on all trim levels, including the base Tech trim, Luxury and Sport. It is offered in conjunction with all interior colorways, and can be outfitted with the Lyriq’s optional Black-painted roof, although it’s worth noting that this exterior color option is currently under constraint as well.
All exterior color options for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq are as follows (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
As a reminder, the Lyriq rides on the luxury marque’s BEV3 platform, and production takes place at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for all markets except for China. The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq can be outfitted with either a single Ultium Drive motor on the rear axle, while a second Ultium Drive motor can be added to the front axle for an all-wheel-drive configuration that’s substantially more powerful.
