No Cadillac Lyriq Discount Available In October 2023

As has been the case since the luxury electric crossover was introduced, there are no Cadillac Lyriq discount or incentive offers available from the luxury marque during October 2023.

However, while the luxury marque itself is not offering any Cadillac Lyriq discount this month, buyers of some Lyriqs may be eligible to take advantage of the $7,500 Federal EV Tax Credit.

The reason for the lack of first party Cadillac Lyriq incentives is quite simple: supply of the Lyriq is low, while demand is high – so much so, that demand is exponentially outpacing supply. As such, Cadillac sees no reason to incentivize the Lyriq with any kind of discount or deal toward its purchase or lease. Illustrating the demand element is the fact that almost 40 percent of Lyriq buyers are conquests, meaning that they did not own a Cadillac immediately prior to buying the Lyriq.

While the Lyriq’s launch was received with much fanfare, sales have been quite low when compared to the likes of the Tesla Model Y. This discrepancy, however, is due to the low supply scenario we mentioned earlier, itself the result of low production volumes as Cadillac works to optimize its EV supply chain. Luckily, Cadillac is working on exponentially increasing production and resulting supply of the Lyriq.
