Refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 Finally Breaks Cover

Since Cadillac Society first caught wind of the planned refresh for the 2025 Cadillac CT5, we’ve been at the leading edge of the luxury sedan’s development, reporting exclusive details on what’s in store. Now, the refreshed luxury sedan has officially been revealed at the Detroit Auto Show – although it’s important to note that this latest model only represents the “regular” CT5 range, which includes Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport trims, while details regarding the refreshed high-performance CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing super sedan will be revealed later on.

Headlining the CT5 refresh is the revised front fascia for the luxury sedan. Its grille is notably wider than the outgoing model, while it features new signature lighting with vertical lighting strips extending downward on either side of the front bumper. Stacked LED headlamps light the way ahead, while new V-shaped accents bracket either side of the grille for a more aggressive outlook.

Speaking of aggressive styling elements, the Sport trim features a dark-themed mesh grille with black surrounds. Several new colors are on the way as well, including Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic, available to customers willing to shell out for them. Meanwhile, the refreshed model rides on a selection of 18-inch, 19-inch or 20-inch wheel options.

Another notable change applies to the luxury sedan’s interior. The 2025 Cadillac CT5 boasts a large, curved 33-inch LED color touchscreen, with built-in tech features such as 5G connectivity where applicable,  while Google built-in compatibility is also included.

Standard safety features bundled into the 2025 Cadillac CT5 include things like Blind Zone Steering Assist. Optional extras include more advanced features such as Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Traffic Sign Recognition and Intelligent Speed Assist, while Driver Attention Assist is included alongside the luxury marque’s semi-autonomous driver assist feature, Super Cruise.

Under the hood, the refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 Cadillac harnesses the standard turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), capable of at 237 horsepower 258 pound-feet of torque.

Meanwhile, A power upgrade is offered in the form of the optional twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine (production code LGY), rated at 335 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional across all trims. Both engines bolt to the 10-speed automatic transmission.

The refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 will begin production at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan in Spring 2024. At the time of this writing, pricing has not yet been revealed.
