The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq adds five new exterior colors to its palette: Emerald Lake Metallic, Argent Silver Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat, Celestial Metallic, and Nimbus Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new Nimbus hue.
Assigned production code G7X and touch-up paint code WA-618G, Nimbus Metallic is one of eight exterior colors offered on the all-electric luxury crossover, which include:
The Nimbus Metallic color color is an extra-cost item that adds an additional $625 to the crossover’s price. It is available on all trim levels, with the option to add a Black roof on the top equipment groups of both the Luxury (1SE) and Sport (1SK) trim levels. The new color can also be combined with all five interior colorways:
Introduced for the 2023 model year, the Cadillac Lyriq stands as the luxury marque’s first entry into the budding EV market. The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq arrives with several important changes and updates. Among these is the introduction of a revised trim level lineup over its 2023 model year predecessor, adding a new entry level trim called Tech. The Luxury and new Sport trim levels slot in above it within the revised Cadillac Y-trim level structure.
While the base Lyriq Tech trim features only one equipment level (1SA), the Luxury and Sport trims offer equipment groups numbered 1, 2 and 3, with each ascending numerical figure representing a better-equipped model. All three trims are offered in either rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive.
Additionally, the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq will adopt 5G network connectivity as standard on all trim levels. The 2024 Lyriq also gets a new power panoramic dual-panel sunroof along with a newly available Nappa Leather seating package, which is genuine leather made from calfskin or other types of soft cowhide.
Regardless of the trim level selected, 2024 Lyriq driving range is estimated at 308 miles for rear-wheel drive models, with motor output set at 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, and 307 miles for all-wheel drive models, with motor output set at 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque.
The Cadillac Lyriq rides on the luxury marque’s BEV3 platform featuring Ultium Drive and Ultium battery technology. The crossover is assembled at the Cadillac Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for all markets except for China. Production of the 2024 model will commence in late March 2023 at the same facility.
