The all-new, next-generation 2024 Cadillac CT6 has finally made its official debut in China in late May.
The second-generation Cadillac CT6 has been revamped from the ground up, right down to the design of the chevron on the front grille, which mirrors the shape of the Cadillac crest. New vertical LED headlamps are complimented by horizontal daytime running lights (DRLs), while a unique center mount brake light at the rear spans the full width of the luxury sedan’s deck lid to emphasize its width, which measures in at 1,890 mm, or approximately 74.4 inches end-to-end.
While the vehicle’s exterior is certainly noteworthy, the most significant changes lie within the cockpit of the all-new CT6. An all-new, curved 33-inch screen relays important information to the driver in the digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. The portion of the screen that stretches into the center stack allows occupants access to infotainment controls, thanks to a redesigned user interface.
Said screen is complemented by dark ash wood and warm metallic accents throughout, and a set of AKG speakers with brushed dark tinted speaker grilles to complete the luxurious look. A 26-color ambient lighting system sets the perfect tone for any drive, coupled with the Jet Black and Whisper Beige interior colorway.
The second-generation Cadillac CT6 feature Super Cruise, the luxury marque’s semi-autonomous highway driver assist feature, along with a host of other assist technologies such as Hands-On Lane Centering Assist and Automated Parking Assist.
For the time being, the CT6 is offered exclusively with rear-wheel-drive with fifty-fifty weight distribution, and harnesses the luxury marque’s turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), which is rated at 233 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque mated to the 10-speed automatic transmission. The luxury marque’s vaunted Magnetic Ride Control (MRC) technology, now in its fourth iteration, handles suspension duties.
Upon launch, three trim levels are available, including Luxury, Premium Luxury and Platinum, while a Sport trim is expected to join the lineup in the future.

As Cadillac Society was first to report over a year ago, the all-new CT6 is not expected to make its way to North America, which is quite unfortunate, in our opinion. Regardless, be sure to subscribe to Cadillac Society for more Cadillac CT6 news and around-the-clock Cadillac news coverage. We also invite you to join the latest discussions in our Cadillac forums and Cadillac CT6 forum.
One of four new colors for the 2025 model year.
And it now represents the best value in its segment.
A curious sighting from a video of the Cadillac design studio.
