2023 Cadillac XT6 Drops These Three Paint Colors

The Cadillac XT6 loses three exterior paint colors for the 2023 model year that were previously available for the 2022 model year.

The 2023 Cadillac XT6 will no longer have the following three exterior paint colors available (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):

  • Satin Steel Metallic (G9K)
  • Dark Moon Blue Metallic (GLU)
  • Infrared Tintcoat (GSK)

Satin Steel Metallic (G9K)

Infrared Tintcoat (GSK)

Dark Moon Blue Metallic (GLU)

To note, the 2023 XT6 represents the fourth model year of the three-row luxury CUV.

Out of the three aforementioned paint colors, only Satin Steel Metallic was offered for no extra charge on the 2022 Cadillac XT6. Dark Blue Moon Metallic cost $625 to equip, while Infrared Tintcoat added $1,225 to the price of the XT6. All three colors were able to be equipped on any XT6 trim level and could all be paired with six interior colorways, except Infrared Tintcoat, which could not be equipped alongside the Dark Auburn with Jet Black accents interior color combination.

While three colors are on their way out, there are three new colors on the way for the 2023 Cadillac XT6:

  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT)
  • Opulent Blue Metallic (GTR)
  • Argent Silver Metallic (GXD)

Radiant Red Tintcoat and Opulent Blue Metallic are both considered premium colors that will be available for an extra charge, while Argent Silver Metallic will not cost extra.

As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac XT6 represents the fourth model year of the luxury crossover. It is available with a choice of two engines. The turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY) is rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and is standard in the base Luxury trim level. The Premium and Sport trim levels feature the naturally-aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), which is rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The XT6 is built at the Cadillac Spring Hill Plant in Tennessee.

  1. Will the XT6 ever get a bigger screen like my Lexus RX350 and will it ever come out with nice all chrome wheels? Does the XT6 have a radar to keep the same distance from the vehicle in front of it like my Lexus RX350 does?
