The 2023 Cadillac CT5 will be offered with an optional Bronze Accent package, Cadillac Society has learned.
The new Bronze Accent Package (production code PDJ) will add a handful of classy bronze trim pieces and decals, among other accents. It will bundle the following components (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):
- 20-inch Black wheels with Bronze accents (SKW)
- Bronze center cap (5ZD)
- Black wheel lug nuts (SPY)
- Black wheel locks (SPZ)
- Decals (5KB for Luxury and Platinum Luxury trims, SB9 for Sport)
The new package will be installed using Cadillac parts and components at the dealer, rather than at the factory.
The luxury marque has not yet revealed what the Bronze Accent Package will cost when applied to the 2023 Cadillac CT5 and photos of the CT5 equipped with the package have not yet been released at this time. It’s also worth noting that a similar package will be offered on the CT5-V, CT4, and CT4-V, but with slightly different components. It will not be offered at all for the range-topping CT5-V Blackwing or CT4-V Blackwing.
As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac CT5 offers three gasoline engine choices. The 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, is standard on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trim levels. Models with this engine are identified by the 350T badge on the decklid. The twin-turbo 3.0L V6 (production code LGY) is optional on the CT5 Premium Luxury, where it makes 335 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. Models with this engine are denoted by the 550T badge. Rear-wheel-drive is standard across all models, while all-wheel-drive is optional for an extra fee.
2023 Cadillac CT5 production began earlier this month at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan, where it is assembled alongside the CT4 range.
