The increase in Cadillac Mexico sales during May represents the fifth consecutive monthly gain in the Latin country for the luxury marque, having been in the green during each of the first five months of 2022. Notably, the 147 units registered in May represents the best sales volume Cadillac has achieved so far in 2022, surpassing the previous record of 134 units set in April.
The continued improvement in Cadillac Mexico sales is the result of sustained growth in each of the utility vehicles the brand currently offers in the country, including the best-selling Escalade as well as the XT4 and XT5 crossovers. In fact, May was the third consecutive month that the three models were in the green. The fifth-generation Cadillac Escalade continues to hold a wide lead as the most popular Cadillac model, not only in Mexico but also in all of North America.
Meanwhile, Cadillac – for reasons unknown – has yet to launch the XT6 in Mexico. Adding this model to the lineup would further boost sales levels at the local market.
We're not aware of any plans to bring the updated XT6 to North America.
