The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V is the first SUV to bear the high-performance V-Series badge, bringing a supercharged powerhouse and unparalleled performance to the luxury marque’s iconic full-size SUV. Cadillac Society has recently learned what exterior paint colors will be offered on the high-performance luxury SUV.
Sources tell Cadillac Society that the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V will be offered in the following five exterior colors (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
- Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT)
- Argent Silver Metallic (GXD)
- Black Raven (GBA)
- Crystal White Tricoat (G1W)
- Dark Emerald Metallic (G6N)
Three colors are new for the 2023 model year: Radiant Red Tintcoat, Argent Silver Metallic, and Dark Emerald Metallic. It’s worth noting that Dark Emerald Metallic differs from Dark Emerald Frost, which was an exclusive color offered for a limited time on the Blackwing super sedans – the CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing. Dark Emerald Metallic bears a metallic finish, whereas Dark Emerald Frost was a matte color. Therefore, there is not a matte color offered for the Escalade-V.
Additionally, it’s important to note that aforementioned colors available for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V are not exclusive to the high-performance SUV and will also be offered on the regular Escalade and Escalade ESV.
As a reminder, the Cadillac Escalade-V draws motivation from the supercharged 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4). Under the hood of the performance-oriented luxury SUV, that eight-cylinder is capable of a whopping 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque. The supercharged engine bolts to Cadillac’s 10-speed automatic transmission, throwing power to all four whees. The luxury marque estimates that the Escalade-V will be able to gallop from zero to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds onto a quarter-mile in 12.74 seconds at 110 mph.

Cadillac is really getting more delirious with their decision-making. Right from the get-go. SUV’s were meant to be utilitarian vehicles. They were meant to be a departure from traditional cars. They were designed for moving people and cargo. I will go so far as to say they were meant to replace station wagons. They were not supposed to be “performance” vehicles.
