The 2022 Cadillac XT4 arrives as the fourth model year of the first-generation XT4, bringing with it a few small changes and updates. The model discontinues the red brake caliper option that was previously introduced for the 2021 model year, while adding a new Comfort Package on Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels. This package includes an eight-way power passenger seat, driver and front passenger ventilated seats and leather seating surfaces.
Additionally, the leatherette seats are now branded as Inteluxe. The material continues to be the same as before, as is the availability (standard on Luxury and Sport models).
Like all prior model years of the XT4, the 2022 Cadillac XT4 continues to be powered by Cadillac’s turbocharged 2.0L I4 gasoline engine (production code LSY) mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel-drive is standard while all-wheel-drive is an extra-cost option.
The Cadillac XT4 is produced at the Cadillac Fairfax plant in Kansas.
