The 2022 Cadillac CT4 has added an array of active driving features as standard equipment.
These include Following Distance Indicator, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, IntelliBeam high beam assist and Rear Park Assist. These features were previously available only on those units of the CT4 equipped with the optional Driver Awareness Plus Package that was available only on the CT4 Premium Luxury, Sport and CT4-V.
Additionally, Front and Rear Park Assist is also standard on the 2022 Cadillac CT4, and was previously offered as part of the optional Front Lighting and Assist bundle.

The 2022 Cadillac CT4 in Premium Luxury and Sport trims also get Adaptive Cruise Control, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking and Reverse Automatic Braking as standard. Previously, these features were available with the optional Driver Awareness Plus Package.
It should be noted the CT4-V trim level will now have all of the previously offered features as standard.
Cadillac’s semi-autonomous driver assist feature, Super Cruise, remains optional on Premium Luxury and CT4-V trims. It has also become available for the Cadillac CT4 Sport trim level, a newfound availability for the 2022 model year. Models with Super Cruise will also get the HD Surround View Camera System.
The ultra-high-performance variant of the CT4 Luxury sedan, the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, has a feature list very similar to that of the CT4-V. It should be noted, however, that the Enhanced Automatic Braking System, Reverse Automatic Braking and Adaptive Cruise Control are not compatible with the CT4-V Blackwing’s standard six-speed manual transmission. Super Cruise is similarly not available for the CT4-V Blackwing, regardless of transmission.
All 2022 Cadillac CT4 trim levels have Buckle to Drive technology, a feature that encourages seatbelt use by preventing the driver from shifting the vehicle out of park until it detects the seatbelt has been fastened. However, this system can be overridden by deselecting it via the vehicle’s infotainment screen.
The base engine for the 2022 Cadillac CT4 350T is the turbocharged 2.0L I4 (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes as standard on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trim levels. The turbocharged 2.7L I4 (production code L3B) is optional on the CT4 Premium Luxury, rated at 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. These models can be identified by the 500T badge on the decklid. The 2.7L turbocharged engine is also standard on the CT4-V, where it’s tuned to deliver 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. All aforementioned CT4 trims are offered in either rear- or all-wheel drive.
All new for the 2022 model year is the CT4-V Blackwing, which is powered by the twin-turbo 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4) rated at a pavement-pounding 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, delivering power exclusively to the rear wheels.
The 2022 Cadillac CT4 entered production the first week of October, nearly five months after assembly of the 2021 CT4 was idled due to the ongoing microchip shortage.

This is an old article from late last year. Some of the features mentioned including the rear emergency braking, and lane assist I understand as possibly not being available because of the chip thing. Though nice, I have no interest in the Super Cruise, but that too is not supposed to be available. Based on my first two listed features that are questionable, my planned spring purchase will likely not happen and I will keep my Buick.
