2021 Cadillac Escalade Average Transaction Price Is Over $100K

The all-new fifth-generation Cadillac Escalade made its debut for the 2021 model year, offering all-new styling, a new interior, the latest tech features, and a no-cost diesel engine option. Now, we’re gaining fresh insights into how the 2021 Cadillac Escalade is performing in terms of sales, specifically with regard to the average transaction price.

According to a recent data analysis from Cox Automotive, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade posted an average transaction price of $102,183 during the first quarter of the 2021 calendar year, a figure which Cox Automotive classifies as “an astounding sum.” Impressively, the luxury marque sold 9,842 new Cadillac Escalade models throughout Q1, which makes the SUV the best-selling vehicle priced over $100,000 for the time period.

The Cox Automotive analysis is based on data collected on 3,908,738 vehicles sold during the first-quarter 2021. The sales figures follow similar results from Q4 of the 2020 calendar year, during which the luxury marque sold 9,454 units of the Cadillac Escalade (also including the previous model year), with 43 percent of buyers spending more than $100,000.

To note, 2021 Cadillac Escalade models in the two Platinum trims – Premium Luxury Platinum and Sport Platinum – have a starting price above $100,000.

Sport Platinum $101,290 $104,290 $104,290 $107,290

Further key takeaways from the recent Cox Automotive analysis reveals that electric vehicles experienced a rapid increase in sales during the first-quarter time period, with a 60-percent increase for all-electrics, hybrids and plug-in hybrids. This bodes well for Cadillac as it transitions to all-electric powertrains, with the recently unveiled Cadillac Lyriq leading the way.

Additionally, the analysis indicates a healthy increase in auto sales in general, building on momentum gained during the ongoing economic recovery.
