Cadillac Russia sales increased 33 percent to 60 units in January 2020 compared to January 2019.
Individual model sales performance was as follows:
MODEL | JAN 2020 / JAN 2019 | JANUARY 2020 | JANUARY 2019 |
---|---|---|---|
CT6 | * | 2 | * |
ESCALADE | +50.00% | 42 | 28 |
XT5 | 0.00% | 16 | 16 |
CADILLAC TOTAL | +33.33% | 60 | 45 |
Cadillac started 2020 with a healthy sales increase in Russia, with the 60 units delivered in January representing a double-digit increase compared to the 45 units sold during the first month of 2019. This positive performance was driven by solid sales of the Cadillac Escalade, which increased sales volume by 50 percent, remaining the brand’s best-selling model in the country.
Looking ahead, Cadillac is expected to continue growing its business in the Russian market as it expands and updates its product portfolio in the country to meet its objective of selling 10,000 units per year. In this sense, the luxury brand recently introduced the 2020 Cadillac XT5 refresh in the Russian market, as well as the 2020 XT6 three-row crossover SUV. It is preparing to launch the XT4 later this year, followed by the all-new, fifth-generation Escalade.
