Same issue. Just bought an off-lease 2018 XT5 Premium Luxury. Tried both iPhone XR’s, with and without cases, no dice. Resorted to plugging lightning cable into the console USB port and running the cable to the wireless charging position 🙁

Same issue, so I googled wireless charging not working on an xt5. It took me to the my cadillac page and there I found a phone compatibility link. Unless you have a 2019 or newer, it shows which phones are compatible and of course my mote 9 is not. It does say you can take it to the dealership and have them update the charger but im sure thats pretty pricey. Ill look into it and advise. Hope this helps!
