GM Authority reported that 1,000 Lyriqs were assembled in September, which is 58 percent of the 1,715 total assembled this year

So we wish to read about actual delivered units with real world experiences from Lyriq owners.

Hi, I received my Lyriq in September, 2022. It has been a dream vehicle. This review comes from a previous 2022 Chevrolet HTC, Z51, Corvette owner. Design, ride, options, and comfort is hard to match.

Got my Lyriq 2/20/2023 and love it but a few minor complaints. The door handles are neat but a simple recessed mechanical handle would of worked just fine, there is an electric motor on each door that pushes the door out. That is 4 motors that could go bad someday down the road. Glovebox button is on the infotainment screen so you can’t just open passenger door and open it you have to bring up the infotainment screen open a category and hit the button. Not something most people open that often but it could of been easier. After programming garage door opener to use it you have open controls and hit remote 1 button on infotainment screen, the bottom home screen has up to 6 buttons that you can drag different categories down to but you can’t open a category and drag something out of it and down to the bottom 6 spots. Previous vehicles always had 3 buttons you could program. So I have to open the controls button on bottom right then hit the remote 1 button. Come on Cadillac do a software update and put 3 programable remote buttons on home screen. Another software update that I would like is to have battery conditioning on the MyCadillac app, I go to granddaughter’s b-ball games here in northern Illinois and it would be nice to warm battery before the game get’s over. I went to her game the other night and driving home in 24 degree weather I was getting 1.1 miles per kilowatt.

Hi, my understanding is, if you use Google maps to direct you to your next charge station, it will automatically condition your batteries. At lease, that’s the method that I use.

Yeah it does but I didn’t need to charge to get home so when I got in I hit the battery pre-condition button to start it and it’s a 70 mile drive home. Heating the battery is suppose to make it more efficient from what I understand so if I could pre-condition it from app for 30 minutes before I leave then I could possibly get 2.0 miles/KW to start drive home. Still learning.

Any feedback on which actions are available through voice command? I would like to be able to switch the Driver Control Mode from Tour to Sport and back without taking my hands off the steering wheel and open my garage door by voice. The owners manual is not much help in this area.

I’ve been owning my 2024 LyriQ Tech since January. My vehicle has gone from 280-290 on 80% to currently 370 miles on 100%.

Last week I had a software update at my dealer – I now can open and close my garage door and open my glove box with a control button at the bottom of the main screen no matter what other tab is being displayed. Thank you GM for eliminating that annoying inconvenience!
