The platform is a successor to the first generation Alpha architecture, or Alpha 1.
It is the same chassis the underpins the first-generation Cadillac CT4.

Pricing for the 2022 CT5-V in the United States is expected to remain similar to the current starting price of the 2021 Cadillac CT5-V model, which is $48,690 in the rear-wheel drive configuration.
Availability
The 2022 CT5-V is expected to enter the market by the end of Q3 2020.
As Cadillac Society reported, the performance-inspired CT5-V model will not be sold in China, but may enter Mexico, Middle East and Russia.
