Spring Hill Manufacturing, often simply referred to as Spring Hill, is an automotive assembly plant owned and operated by Cadillac parent company, General Motors. It is located in Spring Hill, Tennessee and currently builds the XT5 and XT6 luxury crossover vehicles as well as the Cadillac Lyriq electric crossover.
Of Spring Hill Manufacturing’s 2,100 acres, 700 acres are dedicated to farming, while an additional 100 acres are a dedicated wildlife habitat where native grasses and wetlands reside. The wildlife preserve has been recognized and certified by the Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC).
In addition to vehicle manufacturing, Spring Hill also manufactures propulsion systems and polymer injection moldings.
Currently, the Spring Hill plant builds crossovers on the short version of the C1 platform (pronounced “chi”) and manufactures propulsion systems, stampings and injection moldings. It also builds the Cadillac Lyriq, which rides on the all-new BEV3 platform.
