With production of the Cadillac Celestiq limited to just 25 units for the 2025 model year, we’re more likely to see a Ferrari SF90 XX or Aston Martin Valhalla, statistically speaking. That reference point makes the spotting of the first customer-delivered Celestiq all the more spectacular – an occurrence that was highlighted by Cadillac President John Roth during a recent media briefing attended by Cadillac Society.
“We also delivered into our EV portfolio our first Celestiq, and I noticed that online, a few journalists have caught this vehicle live driving around the California roadways,” Roth said. “I know the delivery happened here at Cadillac House just a few weeks ago, and the owner couldn’t be prouder of taking delivery of this vehicle in California. So proud that he’s driving it and allowing it to be photographed by many of you in the marketplace.”
When probed, Roth maintained the anonymity of the owner of the tastefully specced Cadillac Celestiq.
“We won’t be revealing his name…but this one is on the road, and I know the overall experience with this vehicle has been just absolutely tremendous, and we’re super excited about delivery number two, three, four, and beyond as we move forward here in the coming weeks and months,” he said. Notably, Roth has recently gone on record to say that the luxury marque will likely never produce more than 250 Celestiq fastbacks in a given year.
The Celestiq in question has been seen gracing the streets of Los Angeles, flaunting its Dolce Metallic finish. With a brown-on-brown color combo, the hand-built fastback also features a two-tone interior combo of Cinnamon and Camellia-colored leather, which is accentuated by Rosewood trim.
As a reminder, the Celestiq has a base MSRP of $340,000 and generate up to 655-horsepower and 646 pound-feet of torque thanks to its dual-motor all-wheel-drive propulsion system that draws power from a 111-kWh battery pack. The setup allows for sub-four-second zero-to-60 sprint time, and can deliver up to 300 miles per charge.
