Cadillac V-Series.R Mobil 1 Livery Unveiled Ahead Of 2025 Le Mans Race

Cadillac recently unveiled the Mobil 1 livery for the No. 101 Cadillac V-Series.R, stoking anticipation of the 93rd annual 24 Hours of Le Mans race set to take place June 14th -15th. The new skin is akin to what we see on the No. 10 car, with a deep royal blue center and gradient effects on the side. This time around, however, Mobil 1 branding is front and center.

According to Cadillac, this new livery symbolizes the “strong partnership in motorsports excellence” shared between the two highly recognized American brands. Such a partnership enables the two entities to take data generated by race cars and use it to enhance their mainstream products.

“Mobil 1 and Cadillac Racing are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of performance and innovation in motorsport,” said Cadillac Global Vice President, John Roth. “We’re excited to welcome the Mobil 1 brand as the primary sponsor of the No. 101 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R for the 24 Hours of Le Mans,” he added.

Mobil 1 Strategic Global Alliance Manager, Tony Esposito, echoed Roth’s sentiment. “Le Mans is the ultimate proving ground in motorsport, and we’re proud to support Cadillac’s ambitions through our continued technical partnership,” he said. “This new livery reflects what our work with Cadillac is all about – performance, passion and pushing boundaries. We’re thrilled to see it come to life on track at Le Mans, where our legacy in motorsport continues,” he continued.

These boundaries will surely be tested during the 24-hour endurance race. Specifically, the Mobil 1 oil will endure extreme heat while lubricating the hybridized 5.5L engine as it propels the Cadillac V-Series.R through what is arguably one of the most challenging racing events in all of motorsports.

The luxury marque’s goal to take first place at the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans race is ambitious, but not overzealous. For context, when Cadillac returned to Le Mans after a decades-long hiatus, the No. 2 V-Series.R, which was driven by Earl Bamber, Alex Lynn and Richard Westbrook, secured a podium finish in the Hypercar class.
